THE PROJECT
Project overview
The Northern Center project in Flushing, Queens combines residential, medical office, and commercial development. The project description identifies a 16-story residential building with 115 residences and approximately 130,000 square feet of residential space, together with a 14-story medical and commercial building. The described medical office area is approximately 130,000 square feet, with more than 55,000 square feet of retail space.
Neighborhood and access
The project is near downtown Flushing, with access to the No. 7 subway and Long Island Rail Road. Nearby destinations include Citi Field, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Queens Botanical Garden, and Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
Project team
The published project description identifies FXCollaborative as the architectural design firm and Sunlight Group as the development team. Sunlight works in real estate investment, construction, and construction management.
