A ten-year green card and return of principal
One investor’s milestones
A Wingate Hotel investor obtained I-829 approval and a ten-year green card and received a full return of investment principal.
A historical capital-return record; this does not mean all fees were refunded.

Questions about projects and the process.
Does I-956F approval mean an investor has a green card?
I-956F approval concerns the project. Each investor has separate petition and immigration procedures. This website identifies project approval, I-526/I-526E, I-485, and I-829 as distinct stages.
How does an I-485 approval differ from a ten-year green card?
The I-485 notices shown here document approval of adjustment of status. These EB-5 investors first obtained conditional permanent residence. The Wingate I-829 approval removes those conditions; its ten-year green card reflects that later stage.
Does the Wingate case guarantee repayment in another project?
The Wingate example is a historical individual case. It does not guarantee repayment to other investors, results in other projects, or future repayment dates. Capital return must be reviewed in light of the applicable offering documents, project circumstances, and requirements.
How can I request project documents or an appointment?
Call 718-321-7130 or email info@law-gz.com. Please identify the project you are interested in. You do not need to send a full passport, green card, or bank account number by ordinary email for an initial inquiry.
